The Czech Government has given Škoda's New Superb a vote of confidence. The Czech Republic takes over the presidency of the European Union in 2009, and the administration has ordered 27 Superbs to transport government members and delegates from the various EU member states to and from the CzechRepublic.
A further 27 Superbs will be used during the meeting of the EU foreign affairs ministers with ministers from the countries of the Rio Group, which will be held in Prague next year.
Fred Kappler, Škoda Board member for sales and marketing, said that the deal was very prestigious and gave Škoda an excellent opportunity to showcase the new car at the highest level.
