The car scrappage allowance scheme explained

The government has recently brought in a car scrappage scheme, which offers drivers a cash incentive to scrap their old cars and replace them with shiny new ones.

Your car will be eligible as long as you meet the following criteria:

  • THE VEHICLE MUST HAVE BEEN FIRST REGISTERED IN THE UK ON OR BEFORE 28 FEBRUARY 2000. NOW INCLUDING V PLATE CARS.
  • THE VEHICLE MUST HAVE BEEN REGISTERED IN THE CLAIMANTS NAME FOR 12 CONSECUTIVE MONTHS WITH THE DVLA OR IT MUST HAVE A SORN NOTICE.
  • THE CLAIMANT MUST HAVE A UK ADDRESS ON THE REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE (V5C).
  • THERE MUST BE NO OUTSTANDING FINANCE ON THE VEHICLE.
  • THE VEHICLE MUST HAVE A VALID MOT.

THE GOVERNMENT HAVE ONLY MADE FUNDING AVAILABLE FOR THE FIRST 400,000 CLAIMS ON THE SCHEME(EQUIVALENT OF 400M), SO CONTACT ANY OF OUR SALES STAFF TO REGISTER YOUR INTEREST NOW!

Is your car old enough?
